TheConnectHer/Palestine group has started an innovative project selling "kits made up of product from women micro-entrepreneurs" to people who want to help micro-entrepreneurs in the West Bank and Gaza in their quest for self-sufficiency (click on above link to learn more). connecther recently received a $1,000.00 (two kits) order for hand made products sent from Palestinan women micro-entrepreneurs. The wonderful person who ordered the kits will sell the products to her personal and professional social network, here in the U.S. (via church groups, get togethers, etc.). This $1,000.00 order will support the development of two women micro-entrepreneurs to either begin or expand their micro-businesses.

FACT: $125.00 supports and feeds a family of 6 in Palestine. Working collectively through connecther we are making a difference in women's lives!

Some of these networks include church groups, silent auctions, online marketplaces, study groups, galas, bazaars, business places, family and friends, schools, and more.

connecther's main goal is to help women in their quest for economic independence, particularly women in the developing world. Many women in the developing world want to become entrepreneurs and are even entrepreneurial by nature, however, are sometimes simply not visible.

connecther aims to make these women visible by using our on and offline personal social networks to connect these women to markets for sale of their products, business advice & ideas, business loans and just to share stories about them.
